有谁知道移民可以在上海/北京申请美国签证吗？

打算这次回去顺便把美签给办了，省的跑去温哥华/多伦多申请。但是有怕申请通不过，问为什么不在加拿大申请？
大家知不知道有类似的情况啊。

It is actually better to apply in Beijing or Shanghai. As long as you are a PR and have a stable work or strong tie in Canada, they hardly ask any questions.

A lot of people I know has been asked \"Why don\'t you apply in your home country\" when they are applying in Toronto

On the US VISA application website, it actually said they prefer you to apply the VISA at your country of citizenship.

If you are Canadian PR, it actually doesn\'t matter where you are applying, if they asking you that question, just say that it is faster to do it in China; in Toronto the waiting time is always more than 10 weeks.

建议你不要在国内签证,因为你应该在居住地申请.我就是在上海被拒签的(我以前有好几次美国签证).签证官说由于我移民加拿大,因此无法判定我材料的真实性.

是,美国人很会赚钱.买的电话卡基本是浪费大部分的,除非你还有其他朋友要签证,可以继续用.我当时也是怕麻烦,想在上海弄好算了,没想到....最后是在温哥华签好的,那里排期较短.那里的签证官开始也很奇怪为什么上海不给我签证,因为我纪录很好,后来想想也是因为我移民的原因,他二话没说就给我了.您保重吧,呵呵.在上海签的话,注意照片尺寸一定要准确,门口保安查的很严,估计和附近照相馆有利益关系,动不动就让你去重拍.
