\"By the way,I know how much I spent my efforts on English,I can understand your understanding and concers as an overseas person .
I have been being a gentlelady all the time, that`s why I care others` attitude! Being accustomed to speaking English ? Hilarious! How about giving something as simple as a smile or gesture--body language? Nothing more than a politeness--if you really want to show you are a well-educated overseas Chinese!
first of all you are talking about a small population of oversea chinese population - which doesn\'t represent the whole picture.
second of all it\'s an individual choice. many people choose not to smile at you. in the future do you expect your boss smile at you all the time? if they don\'t what would you do? cope with it. you have to learn to deal with all sorts of people ! and also you think the worst of others. why do you think people is required to smile back you, it\'s ridiculous ! they could be in their worst mood ever, they could have lost a parent , they could had a break up. what do you know of them for you to comment? you have to right to smile to them as they have the right to smile back at you, it\'s a personal choice don\'t force it.
Again,I am not in favor of those who are pretentious!\"
- you do understand pretending takes energy right, why would a stranger pretend to be \"better\" than you are. it\'s childish if they are doing it for a little personal satisfaction, however how does that affect your own personal well being i don\'t understand - if you stop giving everyone such high expectation then you\'d probably see the world a better place. it\'s ur life not theirs. |
