Hello,

The Canadian Red Cross collects funds to meet the immediate relief andlong-term recovery needs of disaster survivors. Should donationssupporting a specific Red Cross disaster relief and recovery effortmeet the amount required, the Canadian Red Cross will cease collectingdonations for the response and will communicate this informationimmediately to the public.

Between 5 and 15% is spent on administration fees, with a minimum of 85% going towards the program or appeal in question.

Donations to the Canadian Red Cross China Earthquake response will beused to support emergency relief efforts already underway in Sichuanprovince. Canadian Red Cross donations to this response will betransferred to the International Federation of Red Cross and RedCrescent Societies who will then distribute these funds to the RedCross Society of China directly.

Members of the Federation are currently on the ground in Chinaconducting emergency needs assessments. These assessments give theFederation the best information for how much money will be required torespond to the needs of those affected.. Donations to the Canadian RedCross will then be transferred through the Federation to the Red Crossin China.

Canadians can rest assured that their donations will go directly tothose affected by the recent earthquake in as timely a manner aspossible.

呵呵，ls的真厉害，啥事你都能想到party，我提到party了么？

虽然说是义工，但是提供必要的食物衣物还有交通我觉得还是要的，不能当人家是廉价劳工还要自己贴钱的劳工吧。所以收点费用还好啦。

老实说，加拿大就名码实价给你说了至少85％给了，其他的那些组织有多少％给了还是不知道，他们不说不等于１００％给真捐了。

该做的去做就好了，埋怨这埋怨那的没意义～

呵呵，ls的没有看到中国某地红十字会收的捐款只有60%到灾区么

其实,我在捐钱的时候想到过这个问题,原来在国内的时候也听说过专项资金被贪污的事,我担心啊,我就选了加拿大红十字会~~没想到啊没想到!!!都差不多恶心啊

加拿大红十字会对中国的捐款是有限额的，如果大家的捐款超过了这个限额，超过部分也不会达到灾区，会被分配到世界其他项目. 请大家考虑一下其他方式捐款。

俺因为有国内的银行卡，所以是用人民币捐款到的中国红十字会。但ROY说的捐款到加拿大红十字会可以拿到退税收据，也是正确的，有了退税，大家可以多捐一些。还有，我们人在加拿大的同胞，熟悉一下加拿大红十字会的网站，也好把它说给身边的加拿大本地同学，同事，让他们也捐一些，也是好事情。

以前听说过国内的希望工程助学款被一些地方截留的事情。不过这次，俺相信，谁也不敢截留国难捐款，他长几个脑袋？
