Miss Winnipeg Chinatown Centennial Pageant

Discover the beauty of Chinese Culture. Nine talented young women will share their talent and knowledge as they compete in the Miss Winnipeg Chinatown Centennial Pageant. Each contestant will don three costumes, the majority of which were custom-made for each young woman in China.

Local celebrity judges include Winnipeg Police Chief Keith McCaskill, Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra conductor Alexander Mickelthwate, CEO of Canad Inns Taras Sokolyk, Her Honour Anita Lee, and experienced pageant organizer from China Wu Jing Hua.

Plus, listen to the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra as they perform at this wine and cheese event!

Join Margaux Watt from CBC’s Up To Speed as she emcees on Sunday, Oct. 18 at Canad Inns Polo Park. Tickets are $35 and are available at the Chinese Cultural Centre.
